Cano Health, Inc. and its subsidiaries (collectively, the “Company”) have entered into a Restructuring Support Agreement with a significant majority of its lenders to reduce debt, strengthen liquidity, and position it for long-term success. To facilitate this restructuring, on February 4, 2024, the Company initiated prearranged voluntary Chapter 11 proceedings in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (the “Court”) pending before the Honorable Karen B. Owens.
Given the broad extent of creditor support, Cano Health expects to file and receive Court approval of a Plan of Reorganization and Disclosure Statement expeditiously.
Moreover, these important steps will position the Company to advance its ongoing Transformation Plan designed to significantly reduce costs, enhance productivity, and improve cash flow. It has also received a commitment for $150 million in new debtor-in-possession financing from certain of its existing secured lenders, which is subject to Court approval.
The Company has filed a series of customary “first day” motions with the Court to maintain business-as-usual operations during the restructuring process as it continues to improve health outcomes for patients as a leading value-based primary care provider.

On April 29, 2024, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware entered an order [Docket No. 689] (the “Committee Information Sharing Procedures Order”), among other things, approving a protocol regarding creditor requests for information.
